Proudly crafted in Italy by Malaga4 in collaboration with Cooperative Alice, a social cooperative supporting female empowerment through craft, these bags bring a new life to these rich textiles, championing sustainable and ethical production. Each bag is one of a kind or part of a super limited edition.
Malaga4 is a very special place, with an old factory courtyard that encourages the convergence of ideas to come to fruition. It is here that fabrics, ribbons and cords – the result of passion and research in markets and ateliers around the world – take shape and come to life in different styles of bags.
They are all manufactured without using leather. The materials’ inspiration is derived from “passamanterie,” a combination of tapestry fabrics, trimmings, precious linings, colorful fringes and tassels.
After many years in the fashion industry, Monica Dolfini, internationally renowned stylist and fashion director of Italian and foreign fashion magazines, is the creative mind behind this project.
