An 18th Century marble bust of the goddess Juno. The Roman Queen of the Gods, wife of Jupiter and Goddess of women, marriage, protection and childbirth.
Carved with softly modelled features, the bust reflects the classical tradition and enduring appeal of Greco-Roman sculpture. Later mounted on a polished black marble plinth, which provides a strong visual contrast and elevates the form.
